A Nato statement said four groups of aircraft, including Tu-95 Bear bombers and MiG-31 fighters, were tracked over seas and the Atlantic Ocean. Fighter aircraft from Norway, Britain, Portugal, Germany and Turkey were scrambled in response. The buffer will include water-filled trenches to prevent tunnelling. Egyptian media accuses Gaza's Hamas administration of aiding militants in Sinai. Hamas denies the charge. Last week, more than 30 Egyptian soldiers were killed in a militant bomb attack on an army post in Sinai. After the bombing, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi passed a law authorising the military to protect state facilities - including power plants, main roads and bridges. Presidential elections to choose a permanent successor will be held within 90 days, Defence Minister Edgar Lungu said. Mr Scott, who is of Scottish descent, becomes Africa's first white head of state for many years. 4，中东 Islamic State 'frees 25 schoolchildren' says rights group 人权组织：IS释放25名学童 2014年10月30日4:54 Islamic State militants have released 25 Kurdish schoolchildren its fighters kidnapped in May, a rights group has said. The 25 are the last to be freed from a group of more than 150 schoolchildren abducted in northern Syria, according to the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The children were kidnapped travelling to their hometown of Kobane after taking exams in the city of Aleppo.
