The biggest settlement ever between the U.S. government and a privatecorporation was announced Thursday by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, whosaid Bank of America engaged in "pervasive schemes" to defraudinvestors buying the bad loans. 美国最大的银行之一——美国银行由于其向投资者出售劣质住房抵押贷款，以此引发世界经济衰退，将支付将近170亿美元的罚款。这是美国政府和私人公司迄今为止达成的最大一笔协议，美国总检察长霍尔德周四发布了该协议。他说，美国银行利用“某些周密计划”骗取投资者购买劣质贷款。

Gap is partnering with Arvind Lifestyle Brand Limited,a subsidiary of Arvind Limited, which is one of India's largest textilecompanies.
